Another thing with the people on that forum, they are the MTV generation, want things tomorrow, including being a master of art that takes years to notice. If you understand what he is doing, then other things from far away are much more easier.

Well the Balintawak demo are like alot of others that I have seen besides from that one from leto, but I feel if the knife was put in a certain point on my back(like the Balintawak demo) will depend on the way that I turn. ie knife pointing left side, turn right. and from a tai chi way of thinking, if the knife was on the left side but it's energy was going right ,turn left. The man in the video he says hit the elbow. It seems to be all he's thinking about. If the knife holder knows nothing well turn which way you want, the surprize will catch him off guard but who's is to know if the person does or not.
I will not put him down, but there is alot more than just turn and hit the elbw to think about in my opinion. |

*cough*
http://www.bahadzubughq.com/forum/index.php?topic=107.0 I recently installed a mod ![]() Yes, I know one of the guys in that video personally. Apparently, the guy being "held-up" walks into bars and gives people the knife and bets them cash he can get out of the position.... He has his own system. He tried it on GM Yuli but apparently Maestro's footwork was very hard to pin-down.... ![]() The Balintawak ones are good. Whenever we are taught these kind of things by GM Yuli we have to make sure the attack is as realistic as possible. If not can the defense be considered "Realistic"? Leto's ones got ridiculed on another forum ("you'd be stupid to let things get that far", etc, etc) but there's a lot of people out there who seem to miss what it actually being shown. There is another thread on yet another forum and people are saying "You can't learn from youtube"! hmmmm |
